Tecno phone or just wish to check the originality of the phone. Tecno has now come up with an idea by creating a website where you check if your phone is original or not.

     2.   Enter your IMEI and VC in the box
           provided and then click on submit to
           access your Tecno phone originality
           status. Or dial this short code to view
           your IMEI code; *#06#

     3.   To check the originality status of your
           Tecno battery, enter your battery serial
           number in the ‘Genuine Battery Check’
           space, and then click on submit to
           access your Tecno battery originality
           status.

NOTE THAT: Your Tecno smartphone IMEI and VC can be located at the back of your phone when you remove the battery, while your battery serial number is available on the battery itself.
