Gionee, a global phone manufacturer, has
unveiled a new phone that will address the
needs of Nigerians as regards power outage.
“This comes as a huge relief to Nigerian phone
users as the era of carrying power packs
alongside their phones is over with the unveiling of Gionee M5 mini smartphone.

“The 4000mAh battery power is designed to last three to four days when fully charged, in
addition to having the capacity to charge four
other phones,” the company said in a statement.

Perfomance and Display
Gionee M5 Mini runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The smartphone operates with an Mtk processor – MT6580, which has a CPU maximum clock speed of 1,300 MHz. Being Quad-core, it has a battery performance, making Gionee M5 Mini a perfect device for multiple tasking without lags.
The cores, this time, are not built on the
popular Complex Instruction Set Computing
(CISC) design strategy, rather, they are built on
Reduced Instruction Set Computing (RISC) model strategy where instructions are executed faster.
Gionee M5 Mini sports wide screen display built with High definition In-Plane Switching
technology. With a high PPI, the smartphone has a crystal display and high quality views from projected angles.

Camera & Storage
The main camera is 8MP while the selfie camera is 5MP which comes with professional options that can beauty your face. You won’t miss precious moments and won’t run out of storage with its inbuilt storage of 16 GB ROM that can be extended to 128GB plus 2GB RAM.

Battery
The battery of Gionee M5 Mini is superb. With
4000mAh battery, it gives a standby time of
nearly 10 days, an uninterrupted 22-hour audio experience of music and a nonstop 18 hours of talk. One will wonder why it still comes with a smart power notification for optimum power usage.
